This is a Ben Zuckerman suit dating from 1968- the end of Ben Zuckerman's career. While many women had given up on wearing suits by this date and were wearing casual 'hippie' clothing, there was still a large market for more dressed up looks.
This suit is in a pale colour and is accessorised by a great hat.

Here is a gorgeous Ben Zuckerman coat in thick black wool trimmed with black fox at the cuffs and collar.
The coat is double breasted and has great pockets which give a peplum effect. The waist is very nipped, this effect is created by the seams at the side which can be seen in close up.

The photo is by Karen Radkai, a photographer whose work was featured a number of times in Vogue during the 1950s and 1960s.

This is a Ben Zuckerman coat in a tan wool. The coat has large buttons and two pockets. The wool is almost like a mohair.

This coat was sold at Nicholas Ungar, which was a store in Portland, Oregon. In 1966 it was bought by Nordstroms, which renamed the store into Nordstrom Best.

From Vogue, September 1959- a Ben Zuckerman suit in gold brocade. The ensemble is made up of a skirt and blouse with a jacket that is lined in dark fur.
Brocade is defined as a heavy fabric interwoven with a rich, raised design. Brocade was widely used in the 1950's and 60's for more 'dressy' suits and dresses.
