This brown pin-striped Ben Zuckerman suit is such a lovely example of masculine-style suiting tailored to feminine perfection. The jacket has 4 buttons down the front as well as buttons on the pockets. It has a nipped waist and has a vague art deco feeling with the arrow shaped pockets. The jacket is lined in pale pink silk, another feminine touch that only the wearer would know about.
The suit was sold at Best's Apparel, Seattle. Best's was a clothing store, located on the corner of Fifth and Pine Street in downtown Seattle. The store was bought out by Nordstrom in 1963.
