From Vogue, 1 September 1959-
'Immediate Suiting: Coppery Tweed $265- This up-to-date tweed shows its true metal in city surroudings. Its new tawny colouring is on the coppered side. Its shape, thanks to Ben Zuckerman, is a triumph of long, trumpeting line, deep crushed-leather belting, and wide spread collaring. In French Wool tweed, also solid black English tweed. Size 10-16.'
Compare with this suit- which I believe is the above mentioned black tweed version.

This lovely suit, in a vibrant pink would brighten anybody's day. The suit is wonderfully tailored and has a very heavily beaded collar to add a luxurious touch.

This jacket is a perfect example of very fine tailoring. The jacket is made of very high quality wool in neutral grey. The jacket is double breasted with corde buttons and perfectly set collar and sleeves. It's wonderfully well made and would have taken a great deal of skill to make.
